The goal is to help student musicians who are in financial need so they can benefit from the orchestral experience offered by the three Salem Youth Symphony groups.

The process:

• Audition.  Auditions will be held again on Saturday, September 24, 2011.  Audition music is available.  Please call 503-485-2244, or email info@salemyouthsymphony.org, to schedule an audition for one of the three orchestras.         
• Application.  Please complete and return the Application for Tuition Assistance by October 4, 2011 so a decision can be made as soon as possible.  Please note that tuition assistance does not cover the $25 enrollment fee.  
• Decision.  Tuition assistance decisions will be made soon after October 7, 2010.  

 

We welcome any donations from the community to help students in financial need who might otherwise not be able to participate in the orchestras.
